PRODUCTIONS TIME FRAME

As a general standard, allow 4-6 weeks production time for most items i.e.: homewares and handicraft, for furniture we indicate a minimum of 10 weeks on wooden furniture items, and one extra week to allow us for collection, quality control , packing, and loading of the goods.  Most important is that we give from case to case an expected production, without guarantee, but reliable.  can not be held responsible if production takes unexpected longer for whatever reason. If delay occur you will inform directly.

Our quality control staff will usually do two visits or more if needed to the suppliers to ensure all is going as planned and is finished on time.

They will check all measurements are correct and colours match the colour samples we are working with. If it is a wooden item we will perform a moisture test to ensure the wood moisture is at an acceptable level for export. Once the product is according to the specs of the order, the product the Quality Control staff will photograph the item and will sent the image through WhatsApp or email for your approval.

Once the goods are ready, we will request balance of payment from you so we can arrange to have the goods collected by cargo and packed ready for loading into the container. On packing day, there is always a representative from our office, to ensure all goes smoothly.

TERM AND CONDITIONS
Procurements

Product procurement we will begin with an initial briefing on your wish list. We will then prepare a comprehensive list of suppliers that we will transport you around Bali in our spacious air conditioned vehicles. With our experience we know the best suppliers at the right prices. If you are not able to make it to Bali, no problem. We can take care of everything on your behalf and can do it all remotely sending you images and at times doing video calls on WhatsApp at the suppliers location so you can see the item you are looking for.

After you choose the items you want, our team will collect the data, photograph and size everything, and then will prepare a detailed listing for you to keep track of the volume of your order with our cargo.

Once above steps are finished we will email you your final order and request a 50% deposit to start production or hold items you have chosen from ready stock. Our team will then go to each supplier with detailed information on how you want your goods finished.

Procurement  Fee

Regarding the procurements agent fee, allow us to give you brief explanation.

Is a common practise but not all of them, that supplier give 5% fee to the agent. Therefore  works at a fee

We will sent you a separate invoice for this fee, to avoid that you need to pay additional taxes on this amount in your own country. The fee is exclusive of shipping fees.

Pricing

All pricing is quoted on per container basis. Should your order be less than a container, a handling fee of $150 USD will be charged. All prices and specifications shown on this website are indicative only and will be confirmed on request. Prices of commodities change regularly.

Indirect Procurement Fee

Should you want indirect procurement only  to collect  data for the products trend, availability and price for your business, projects or your clients, we work on three forms of the payment:

  1. A fee of 2.500.000 IDR per day is charged for an 8 hour period. Based on your wish list we will calculate how long it will take time for us to collect data and send you invoice for your approval once we receive the payment we will start executing the job.
  2. We work at a fee 5% for all goods value, minimum value $5000 USD.
  3. A fee of $40 USD per hour with the minimum for 3 hours per day.

We will sent you a separate invoice for this fee, to avoid that you need to pay additional taxes in this amount in your own country. The fee is exclusive of shipping fees.

Payment Terms

We are accept three forms of payment:

  1. Cash up front 50% on placing your order and the second 50% upon pickup from the supplier
  2. International Bank Transfers 50% payment upon placing your order. And the second 50% payment upon pickup from the supplier.
  3. PayPal

will not place any order until all deposits have been paid, there will be no exceptions on this terms.

For the Indirect Procurement service we work at 100% advance payment and we will start work and deliver the complete wish list according to the timeliness.

Warranties

As your agent  does all possible to make sure that your goods are in perfect condition when they get shipped. However, we don’t take any responsibility once the products are shipped.

When exporting items, there is an optional for shipping insurance should any damage occur during the shipment that would be covered by Insurance, but if you decide the shipment are excluding the insurance it is a common rule that you accept some risks for any damage.

Damaged or faulty goods must be reported to   within 24 hours from receipt of parcel to info@artisinalexportsbali.com Please include an image depicting the damage/fault.

If you decide to include insurance for your shipment we will help to claim and if you decide excluding insurance for your shipment then we will do our best to find a solution with our supplier for your interest.

Invoicing

All invoicing will be issued by . 1 Invoice per shipment will be supplied for export purposes. This invoice will be given to the export shipping company who will then issue a Shipping invoice for your countries Customs and Quarantine departments

International Bank Transfer

When we receive funds from you in our account, the bank will charge us a receiving fee of approximately 25-30$. This fee will be added to your invoice. Postage and Petties
A fee of $15 USD is charged per shipment.

Shopping Tours

We advise you to visit Indonesia once -preferably 2 times- per year. This will allow you to follow the market conditions in the best possible way. If no orders are placed on the day, then a fee of $250 USD is charged and rebated against your first order.

All expenses, e.g A daily charge of 500,000 IDR is charged for a car and driver for an 8 hour period, etc. are borne by you

Procurement and development

Should you want us to work exclusively for a period of time for you on development of a product or procurement, a fee of $250 USD per day is charged for an 8 hour period.

Travel Expenses – ie: QC of your product or specific Procurement.

Should you require us to travel to another part of Indonesia or Asia, you will be required to pay the following: a day rate of $250 USD for management staff, a fee of $50 USD per staff member, $90 USD per day per person for incidentals (meals, taxi fares, etc), accommodation, air fare, airport departure fees and taxes, car rental and fuel.

EXCLUSION TO SERVICE

Travel and other expenses may occur to accomplish the work/ service.

SAMPLES

We can ship samples to you. However, they will be charged at the normal buying price and not on a container price, as we cannot get quantity pricing until the item has been ordered in bulk. All shipping costs for samples are borne by you.

SHIPPING

We can arrange all your shipping requirements from FCL (Full Container Loads) to LCL (Loose Cargo Loads) as well as airfreight and International post courier. With some products, we can arrange for you to have them as soon as three to five working days at your doorstep. The average shipping time to Australia for example is approximately four weeks, while shipping to America and Europe is four to six weeks. It all depends on the regularity and availability of shipping lines.

We have been working with Shaka Bali Logistic Cargo now for over ten years. They are tried and trusted and an important partner to our company. Insurances are available with your shipment for an additional 3% of the cargo value if you require. Of course, if you have your own cargo, we are happy to work in conjunction with them for sending your goods.

All documentation for clearing Indonesia is prepared by cargo and all appropriate Certificates of Origin and Fumigation are prepared and sent ahead of arrival to your destination via DHL. Packing lists with clearly labelled box numbers with details of what is in the boxes are sent ahead so you can unpack with ease.

When booking your container, we will require some important details from you to ensure it’s a smooth journey from Indonesia to your Port. As we can only arrange Port to Port shipping, we need to know all the details of who will handle your shipment on your end and the exact delivery location. SHIPPING INFO

Airfreight
The fastest but also the most expensive way to get your goods from A to B. We can arrange full service pickup from your supplier and shipment to the airport of final destination. Prices are based on volume and weight.

LCL
Less than Container Loads. This is the best way of sending your goods to its destination if it’s not a full container load and if there is no strict time schedule. With this method  will separately advise you about additional insurance, as goods can be loaded and unloaded several times before they reach final destination. For example Glass and Stone cannot be insured here but through additional shipping insurance in your home country, it should be possible. Prices for LCL are based on cubic meters and are different from one destination to the other.  They will always include all document fees and other handling costs to your final destination.

FCL
Full Container Load – FCL Shipments are available in 20ft (30cbm), 40ft (62cbm), and 40ft high cube (72cbm). These containers require considerably less handling compared to LCL. The containers will be loaded either in the cargo warehouse or at the manufacturer somewhere in Indonesia and unpacked at your home or warehouse. The easiest way of shipping.

HOW MUCH WILL SHIPPING COST?

Shipping rates are calculated at check out via DHL International Express, cargo Airfreight and Sea freight. The price of shipping varies depending on the volume of your order and your location. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Once your order has been finish processed it will be dispatched within 1-2 business days.  Please see our Terms and Conditions for further information regarding dispatch during high order periods.

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

You can track your order online using the tracking number we provide you. This number will be sent with the email notification you receive when your order has been shipped. Once the order has been shipped it is your responsibility to track your order, failure to collect your parcel from your local post outlet or customs will result in your parcel being returned to us, upon which you will need to cover the costs of re-postage of your Parcel.

CAN I USE A PO BOX FOR MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?

We are unable to delivery directly to PO Box addresses.  We require a physical address as a signature is required on delivery.
